How to Find Scores or Submissions That Need Grading

Studies Weekly Online provides ample reporting and makes grading student submissions quick and engaging. To help teachers make the most of every instructional minute, this article provides a high-level overview of available reports and grading options, ensuring they have the insights needed to meet their classroom objectives in a timely manner.

Grade Reports

The Grade section contains three tabs; Gradebook, Quick Grade, and Rubric.

  • The Gradebook is organized by publication and week, and displays all the content that has been made available to students and their progress.
  • Quick Grade is also organized by publication and activity type, but only displays student submissions that require grading by a teacher.
  • The Rubric tab will only appear if a purchased publication contains a rubric.

The Gradebook displays weekly content in an actionable table chart that’s organized by student. To manage your workflow, look for scores according to their color or symbol:

Click an orange score to open the Grade modal and review the student's responses. Then, choose whether each question is Incorrect, Partially Correct, or Correct

The Quick Grade tab allows teachers to quickly view and grade submissions. The Submissions column reports the number of students who have submitted responses that require grading.

Selecting the Grade Now button will open a modal to review the student's responses. Then, choose whether each question is Incorrect, Partially Correct, or Correct
For detailed instructions visit the How to Navigate the Grade Section article, then select the Quick Grade tab.
