(Currently available to support unpacking the TEKS in Texas Science publications.)
Professional Development content will only be available on your dashboard if a Studies Weekly district or school admin has assigned it to you. It contains an on-demand Professional Development Publication for educators and is not visible to students.
If you have been assigned to a Professional Development Classroom by an administrator, you will see the Professional Development tab under Classes.
From there, select the available publication from the Classroom Card.
Using the navigation arrows in the Table of Contents, you can open the first Week and Article of the Professional Development content, or pick up where you left off.
The Professional Development publication looks and functions like a student publication. Users who are enrolled in this publication will read the articles and answer the comprehension questions as a student. They will not be able to clear their responses since participation is required from their admin. District and/or school admins will have access to view teachers’ completion in the Gradebook.
If you are new to Studies Weekly Online, visit the How to Navigate the Table of Contents article.
