June 2025 Product Updates

Table of Contents has a NEW LOOK

Units are easier to identify on the Table of Contents with their highlighted pastel background. Units can be opened or closed with the new expand/collapse buttons

The Teacher Resources button was replaced by a Manage Publication button. Teacher Resources are still available using the button found on the Table of Contents.

When Manage Publications is elected it opens in a pop-up modal allowing users to:

a. What content is Currently Visible to students. Content marked as "OFF" is not counted. If specific content is not available for the selected publication, it will not be listed in the Currently Visible box. i.e., if there are no Rubrics or Crosswords available, they will not be listed.

b. Content Toggles to mark individual items as visible (blue) or hidden (gray) from students. By default all content is visible.

c. The Publication Visibility Toggle will hide all content within the publication from students.

d. The Revert to Default button will revert all content within the publication back to the original order. It will also reset all toggles to the “ON” position.

Crosswords Print on Single Page

Crossword puzzles, clues, and the word bank will now print on one page.

Google Grade Passback

Google Grade Passback has been added to allow teachers to view student scores from Studies Weekly Online Unit and Weekly Assessments, Activities, and Customized Content in Google Classroom. Full instructions can be found here.

Teachers will need to accept Google permissions to allow Studies Weekly Online access to Google Classroom. This may require approval from the district Google administrator. Read the How to Connect Google Classroom with Studies Weekly article for more information on permissions.

Quick Grade Updates

The Quick Grade update now organizes student submissions by content/publication vs. by individual student submissions.  The option to grade by student is still available. View the new report in the How to Navigate the Grade Section article.
