Lesson Walkthroughs now show in Reader Mode similar to Google Slides in that it fills the page without having to scroll down and displays the Previous and Next buttons.
Adding Articles to Customized Content just got easier because we added optional Grade Level and Subject filters.
Customized Content > Item > Article
Selecting a Grade Level or Subject will show the correlating publications:
We also reduced the number of clicks from having separate dropdown boxes to choose a Unit then a Week, to seeing the Units and Weeks combined into one dropdown.
Now when teachers hover over Printables in Teacher Actions, they will see a sub menu of the available printables. Once selected the printables will open in a new browser tab.
Teachers and admins can enable Google Translate for students who require language support, as well as for their own use. Full instructions can be found in the Utilizing Google Translate in Studies Weekly Online article.
The new student Table of Contents experience was redesigned to match the teacher experience. Units are easier to identify with their highlighted pastel background. Units and Weeks can be opened or closed with the new expand/collapse buttons

A new notification appears in the upper right corner after logging in to draw attention to the user's unread notifications. This includes the teacher, student, school admin, and district admin roles.
- The notification will only appear if there are unread notifications.
- The notification remains onscreen for 30 seconds, then disappears from the screen. During that time the user can click anywhere on screen and interact as usual.
- If there are zero unread notifications the notification will not appear
