Updated Design of Labeling Question

The Labeling question type has been updated to improve the student experience. 

  • The size of the image and label boxes were adjusted to ensure the student no longer has to scroll right to view the answer options.
  • A maximum of 6 labels are allowed for new questions.
  • Drop zones are highlighted in purple when students hover over the dot.
  • Drop zone dots turn from black to blue when a label has been dropped.

 

Mobile Experience - Drawing Tool & Digital Printables

For the best user experience on mobile devices (as a student or teacher), viewing the Drawing Tool or Digital Printable questions is limited to tablets, laptops, or desktops, and users will see an alert.

  • Display Alert for student: “This is only available on a tablet, laptop, or desktop.” on Drawing and Digital Printable questions. 
    • Submit button is also disabled on Mobile Device, for any questions containing the Drawing Tool or Digital Printable questions. For the best user experience on mobile devices (as a student or teacher), viewing the Drawing Tool or Digital Printable questions is limited to tablets, laptops, or desktops, and users will see an alert.
  • Display Alert for teacher:  “Please complete and submit on tablet, laptop, or desktop.” at top of page below the save alert IF any question contains a drawing or Digital Printable question. 
Notification for Publication Expiration

Teachers will receive a notification 30 days before the expiration of a publication.

 

Drawing Tool and Digital Printables have Vertical Text

When adding text to Digital PDFs, a blank canvas, or an image using the Drawing Tool, students can select the down arrow to make the text vertical.

 

Drawing Tool and Digital Printables have Full Screen Mode

A full screen button was added for Digital Printable and Drawing Tool questions that allow students to expand the canvas while using a tablet, Chromebook, or laptop.

 

Improved Global Search

Search results are now divided into 2 tabs, Media and Publications. The Refine Search options have been moved to the right side of the screen.
