Navigate Studies Weekly Online

Teachers can create classrooms, assign publications, and manage student accounts. They can also view and Grade student submissions, view Reports, create Customized Content, and access Online Teaching Tools.

Teacher accounts are quickly identified by the blue navigation bar at the top of the page. Each of the identified features in the following image have correlating articles fully explained in the Teacher section of the Help Center.

There are four additional user account levels in Studies Weekly Online and each role has specific access. Each user level is easily identified by the color of the navigation bar at the top of the page. Read about each level below to learn the differences. 

Student

Students will see the content assigned to them by a teacher, including their progress, scores, and coins. Student accounts are quickly identified by the purple navigation bar at the top of the page.

Family

A Family Email can be added to a student(s) account giving parents or guardians access to view student(s) progress in the Family Dashboard. Family accounts can only be created by invitation from a teacher or admin. Family accounts are quickly identified by the teal navigation bar at the top of the page.

School Admin

School Admins have all the same access a teacher does with some additional features. School admin accounts are quickly identified by the green navigation bar at the top of the page.

  • Access to view all of the Students, Staff, and Classrooms connected to their school.
  • A Usage Report that shows the number of times each teacher and student has logged in.
  • They have the ability to log in as any teacher (or student) in their school for detailed classroom and student data.

District Admin

District Admins have all of the same access as a School Admin with some additional features. District admin accounts are quickly identified by the black navigation bar at the top of the page.

  • Access to view all of the Students, Staff, and Classrooms connected to their organization/district.
  • The Usage Report will show all the schools connected to the district.
  • The District Customized Content Report shows student responses and scores for completed and assigned District Created Customized Content. 
  • Create District Customized Content to be shared precisely across the organization.
