How to Edit, Deactivate, and Reactivate Classrooms

Teachers can edit, deactivate, and reactivate classrooms. Use the tabs below to learn how. 

Edit Classroom

Teachers can edit classroom settings, like the name, grade, subjects, and more. 

From your Studies Weekly Online account and within the desired Classroom Card:

  1. Click Class Settings.

  2. Edit the information you wish to change and click Save.The Change Classroom Image options include grade levels PK, TK, K, and numbers 1-12. Select a number for additional color options
Deactivate a Classroom

All Classes will be automatically deactivated the day after the End of School Date. To view or edit this date, open the Class Settings as mentioned in the Edit Classroom instructions. If you wish to deactivate a classroom before the End of School date you may do so at any time. Teachers can only deactivate the classes they create.

From your Studies Weekly Online account and within the desired Classroom Card:

  1. Select the three dots three_dots_icon.jpg in the classroom card you want to deactivate. (This menu is only available if you created the classroom.)
  2. Choose Deactivate.
  3. In the pop-up window, click Deactivate again. This action can only be completed with classrooms the user has created. 
Recover Deactivated Classroom

From your Studies Weekly Online account and on the Classrooms tab:

    1. Select the Inactive tab in the upper right corner.
    2. Click the three dots three_dots_icon.jpg for the classroom you want to reactivate.
    3. Select Reactivate
    4. In the pop-up window, click Reactivate again.         

To go back to your active classrooms, in the upper left corner, select Active.

 

 Note

If you do not see your classroom, select Refresh Classrooms.

Reactivated Classrooms do not lose their progress.
