This article covers some of our most common questions we receive from Clever users. Additional questions can be directed to rostering@studiesweekly.com.
Why can't the student I added to the roster log in through Clever?
Was the student added to the roster in Clever and shared to Studies Weekly or were they just added to the Student Information System(SIS) roster? Also, we sync your roster data on a nightly basis. Check if the student was added to the roster after last night's sync. From your admin account, can you see if the most recent nightly sync was successful or is it showing up as failed? If your sync is failing, reach out to rostering@studiesweekly.com
Why can't our teachers invite co-teachers into their classroom?
Teachers, students, and classrooms created through automated rostering can only be updated through the roster. If a rostered teacher tries to invite a rostered or unrostered teacher to their rostered classroom, they will not be able to join. They will need to be added as a co-teacher of the classroom in Clever.
Why do my students see classes that aren't associated with Studies Weekly in their account?
We advise roster administrators with your district to make sure they are only sharing admins, teachers, students, and classes that are utilizing the Studies Weekly publication. If you have students with classes that are not associated with Studies Weekly in their account, please reach out to your district roster administrator and have them filter out the classrooms on the Clever roster that is shared with Studies Weekly.
Another school in our district purchased Studies Weekly during the school year. Why don't they have access to Clever even though I have added them to the roster we are sharing with you?
When we approve your district's request to roster with Clever, we set your Clever license count to the amount of schools you originally requested to roster with Studies Weekly Online. If you would like to add a license for another school, please reach out to rostering@studiesweekly.com.
