Transfer/Share Students

Learn how to transfer students from one class to another, or share that student between classes.

Transfer students - without previous teachers assistance

  • Log in to your online account
    • Go to studiesweekly.com/online
    • Enter username (email address)
    • Enter password
    • Click Login
  • In the blue menu bar select the Classes tab
  • Select or create the classroom you want the students added to
  • Click on the gear icon in the green classroom title bar
  • Select Transfer Students to this Class
  • Enter students Username and Password
  • Click Transfer Student
  • Repeat for each student
  • If either the username or passwords do not match then you must fix the problem in order to complete the process of transferring those students
  • Have previous teacher remove student from their class

Transfer Students - with previous teachers assistance

  • Both teachers would log in to their account as instructed above
  • The new teacher would create a class for the students to be transferred into
  • The previous years teacher would go to her class, click the tab to select all students then choose the Transfer Students tab
  • The previous teacher would input the username (district email address) of the teacher they would like to share these students with
  • The previous teacher would click the Remove students button. Those students are now in the new teacher's classroom and not in the previous teacher's classroom

Share students between two classes

  • Both teachers would login to their account as instructed above
  • Both teachers would select or create the classroom they want the students added to
  • The first teacher would add students to their classroom
  • The first teacher would then click the tab to select all students then choose the Transfer Students tab
  • The first teacher would input the username (district email address) of the teacher they would like to share these students with
  • Do not click the Remove students button, as you want students in both classes
  • The students will now be in both teachers classes
